To commemorate Valentine’s Day, watchmaker Jaquet Droz has created a limited-edition timepiece designed to convey the spirit of love. Only eight models will be made of the new Grande Seconde Medium, Saint Valentin, which features a dial in the shape of a figure eight, meant to symbolize the union of two hearts as two interlocking circles. The rolled-edge red alligator-skin strap and bright red hands (with a tiny heart pointing to the time) distinguish the piece from earlier Grande Seconde models, the icon of the 18th-century Swiss brand.
